As parents, we see our children as individuals. We know what brings them joy, what elicits pride in themselves, and even what causes them anxiety. We don’t see them only for their ability to solve math problems in seconds flat, and we don’t give up on them if they miss five words on a spelling assessment. No, we see them as complex, three-dimensional people….we see all of them, the WHOLE child.
