  • Day 2: Beginner Games. We will begin introducing Fun Improv games that will stretch their creativity when given a prompt.
  • Day 3: Advanced Exercises. These exercises will focus more on taking a creative direction when given a prompt in the moment, and acting out a scene in sequence per prompt.
  • Day 4: Mix of All. This day will focus on changing the mindset needed to excel in a variety of games with a variety of ways to entertain someone in an Improvised Method.
  • Day 5: Review and Requests. Today will be the most fun day of the class, with each kid getting to choose a list of games they would want to do for the day, and the opportunity to bring in their own games!

Goal: My goal is to introduce the idea of thinking quickly on your feet. Knowing how to respond to real life situations, and growing their ability to articulate themselves without prep time in a way that is clear and concise.

Time: 9:00 – 12:00

Days: June 17th – 21st, 2024

-This class is built for young performers who have some experience in Improv, and want to see how they would do in a full performance. This Class will feature an invitation for Friends and Family to come and see the things that their Children have learned and worked on through the week.

-Through the week, we will be working on both a bit of Performance Professionalism, as well as improv technique to be used during a performance.

  • Day 1: Introductions and Gauging. Reviewing how Improv works. Understanding basics, and how it will work in a Performance Setting.
  • Day 2: Show Selection. Today, we will play a multitude of games and exercises to give them both practice and understanding Stage Etiquette and how performances work, to be translated to the stage.
  • Day 3: Show Etiquette and Practice. Today will be focused on discussing how a show will run, declaring the order of the show and how it will progress, and understanding how to behave, what is expected, and who will be performing what when show time comes around.
  • Day 4: Rehearsal. Today we finalize and rehearse the performance!
  • Day 5: Performance Day. Today, we put on the performance for the families!

Goal: Introducing a performance aspect to a child’s life gives them collaboration skills, creative outlets, as well as teaching them how to manage time
